While HPSC was celebrating Multi-Cultural Week, Ms Saracino’s Year 10 Food and Food Service students were learning about traditional bush foods that the Aboriginals cooked for their survival. Students learnt about the history-rich Aboriginal culture and caught a glimpse of Aboriginal life by watching various videos. The students experienced bush flavours by cooking a menu of kangaroo meat balls, damper and bush chips.
These lessons helped students understand and learn about the Aboriginal culture and widened their knowledge of Australian heritage. Well done to the Food and Food Service students.
