Celebrating Our Term 3 Multicultural Events

Term 3 provided our college community with many wonderful opportunities to come together, learn from one another and celebrate the rich cultural diversity that makes our school such a vibrant and inclusive place. We are incredibly proud of the many students who enthusiastically participated in our multicultural events throughout the term, demonstrating courage, leadership, creativity and a genuine commitment to fostering understanding and belonging.

A highlight of the term was our Multicultural Evening Showcase, which brought together students, families, staff and community members for an unforgettable evening of cultural celebration. The event showcased the many backgrounds, traditions and stories that make up our college community through a range of performances, displays, traditional attire, music, and dance.

Students who participated in the showcase should be commended for the pride and confidence with which they shared their cultures and experiences. Whether performing on stage, assisting behind the scenes, helping with cultural displays or welcoming guests, every student contribution played an important role in creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere. The evening was not only a celebration of diversity but also a powerful reminder of the strength that comes from embracing and valuing different perspectives, traditions and identities.

Throughout the term, students also engaged in activities through the 4C’s Program. These initiatives encouraged meaningful conversations, cultural learning and opportunities for students to connect with peers from a wide range of backgrounds.

The success of these events was made possible by students who stepped outside their comfort zones to teach others their traditional dance. Their willingness to participate helped create opportunities for learning, respect and appreciation among their peers. By taking part, students not only celebrated their own cultural identities but also helped foster a school environment where everyone feels seen, valued and respected.

These experiences reflect our commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive community where diversity is celebrated as one of our greatest strengths. The enthusiasm shown by students throughout the term demonstrated how cultural understanding can build connections, break down barriers and create a stronger sense of belonging for all.

We extend our sincere congratulations and gratitude to every student who participated in the Multicultural Evening Showcase and the 4C’s rehearsals and showcase throughout Term 3. Your contributions enriched our college community and helped make these events both meaningful and memorable.

We also thank the staff, families and community members who supported these initiatives and helped ensure their success. Together, we continue to build a school culture that celebrates diversity, embraces inclusion and values the unique experiences and perspectives that each member brings to our community.

Congratulations to all students involved. Your enthusiasm, leadership and pride in sharing your culture have made a lasting impact and have helped make Term 3 a truly inspiring celebration of culture, community, connection and belonging.
