Sport and Academies Updates for Term 3

Year 8 Division Sport

Our Year 8 teams competed in Division Sport in Week 8, with students taking part in Futsal, Basketball and Handball. All teams gave their best throughout the day, showing great effort, teamwork and sportsmanship. Well done to everyone involved!

Year 7 Division Sport

Our Year 7 students will head out for Division Sport in Week 10, competing across their respective sports. We’re looking forward to seeing them get out there, compete and enjoy the experience!

Division Athletics

We have 40 students competing at Division Athletics on Thursday 10 September, with competitors aiming to progress through to Regionals.

It is a fantastic achievement to have so many students competing, and we look forward to seeing what they can achieve on the day. Go HPSC!

Irfan’s Spanish Adventure

A huge congratulations to Irfan Jafari, who had the incredible opportunity to represent Australia at the 2026 Costa Blanca Cup Futsal Championship in Spain over the mid-year holidays.

Irfan scored some amazing goals and had an unforgettable experience competing at an international tournament. We are incredibly proud of his achievement and look forward to seeing where his futsal journey takes him next!

Strom Sua Fa’alogo U16 Girls Cup

Congratulations to Renezmaye Vitale and Charlize Dalton, who are taking part in the U16 Strom Sua Fa’alogo Girls Cup.

It is fantastic to see our students taking up opportunities to compete at this level. We’re excited to follow their progress throughout the competition!

Rugby Academy State Final

Our U14 Rugby Academy girls and boys are heading into the Cam Smith Shield State Final on Tuesday 15 September.

Reaching a State Final is a fantastic accomplishment, and we know both teams will be ready to give it everything on the day. We’ll be cheering them on from the sidelines!

Soccer Academy Girls Tournament

Our Year 8 and 9 Soccer Academy girls will compete at the Melbourne Victory South East Girls Tournament on Thursday 17 September.

The tournament will be a great opportunity for the girls to put their skills into action, compete against other schools and enjoy a fantastic day of football. We can’t wait to see them in action!

A huge congratulations to all of our students who continue to embrace opportunities in sport, challenge themselves and strive for their best. We look forward to celebrating plenty more sporting achievements throughout the year!
