Careers and Pathways Update

Careers team are busy sorting though over 90 work experience applications for our year 10 students.

We are excited to welcome the Asuria team to Hampton Park Secondary College in Week 2 of Term 4 to work with some of our Year 12 students who are looking to build their employability skills and prepare for life after secondary school.

Asuria will introduce students to their Employability Skills Training (EST) program, including the services, courses and industry connections they offer. Students will also begin a personalised skills assessment to help them:

Identify their strengths and existing skills

Recognise any skills gaps or areas for development

Explore training and employment opportunities

Discover training options tailored to their individual goals

Build their confidence and readiness for the workforce

Whether students are planning to enter the workforce, undertake further study, complete an apprenticeship or explore other pathways, Asuria can help them develop the skills and confidence needed for their next step.

Students will also have the opportunity to register with Asuria on the day and begin accessing their support and services.

We continue to work alongside our year 12 students to finalize their VTAC preferences.

Equity Schemes Applications Close 9th October

Eary Entry Programs Close 27th November

VCE Results and ATAR results released on 10th December

We welcome a new Careers and Pathways Co-ordinator to the Careers Team.
