Road to Success Expo
Another outstanding year of the Road to Success Expo, with industry and educational stallholders generously engaging with our school community. This career expo gives students valuable insight into a wide range of possible career pathways, encouraging them to dream big and explore their futures. Our aim is to empower every student to design and develop a meaningful career and live a fulfilling life. The event was a great success, with strong student participation from years 9-12 throughout the day.

Arrive and Thrive – Year 10 Workshop
Year 10 students were invited to participate in a careers workshop with guest speaker Tyson Day, focused on increasing employability and work engagement. The session supported students to develop career management and self development skills, while also fostering a positive and proactive mindset towards future opportunities.

Mock Interviews
Year 10 students also took part in our Mock Interview program. We were fortunate to have 23 business managers and industry leaders volunteer their morning to simulate real interview experiences with each student. Feedback from interviewers was overwhelmingly positive, with comments such as “such respectful stud

ents” and “they were really well prepared with their resumes and questions.”

While initially nervous, students left the experience feeling more confident and supported, with many sharing reflections such as “that was really great” and “I got lots of good tips.” Most students highly valued the opportunity, and we hope this experience helps prepare them for future job applications and their first employment opportunities.

VET Tasters

Year 10 students had the amazing opportunity to get a glimpse of our VET courses run on campus in purpose build classrooms.

Students participated in practical activities in VET Engineering, Cookery, Health Services, Business and Sport and Recreation.

From cake decorating, to taking blood pressure, escape room fun, making their own fidget spinners, and enjoying recreation activities, just a small snapshot of the fun involved in gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

VET courses are open to year 11 and 12 students.
