As we reach the midpoint of the year, it is a great opportunity to reflect on the achievements of Semester 1 and look ahead to Semester 2.

A couple of weeks ago, we had our Freeman Values Assembly. Congratulations to the following students on receiving awards in the following categories:

Our Year 9 students recently participated in their Melbourne CBD City Experience excursion. The excursion provided students with the opportunity to explore the city, engage in real-world learning experiences, and develop their independence.

The Year 11 and 12 Formal, held at Grand Receptions, provided students with an opportunity to celebrate this important milestone together. It was pleasing to see students enjoy the evening and create lasting memories with their peers.

We would like to acknowledge the hard work and effort shown by our students throughout the semester. As classes conclude and assessments are complete, reports are written, we congratulate all students on their commitment to their learning. A big congratulations to our Year 10, 11 and 12 students for completing their mid-year exams and the GAT. We recognise the preparation and effort required and commend students for the way they approached these important assessments.

As students begin their Semester 2 subjects and programs, we encourage them to embrace new learning opportunities and continue to build positive study habits and routines.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for Semester 2.
