As Term 3 draws to a close, Hollows House remains firmly in contention to take out the 2026 House Cup. Early next term, we will discover whether our collective hard work has paid off and whether Hollows will claim the House Cup for the first time!
Throughout the year, we have continued to perform strongly across all areas that contribute to House points, including attendance, learning habits and participation in College events. Our second-place finish at this term’s Athletics Carnival was another fantastic achievement. Although we have dropped slightly in the overall standings, we remain consistently near the top. I encourage every Hollows student to keep striving to achieve their best and looking for ways to improve.
Our recent Student-Led Conferences provided students with an important opportunity to receive feedback from their teachers and identify areas to work on before the end of the year. The final term will pass quickly, so make sure you return ready to give it your all, make positive choices and finish the year strongly.
There is plenty to look forward to in Term 4. Early in the term, our Year 7 students will attend their Big Day Out excursion at LeMans Entertainment. We will also farewell our Year 12 students during their special whole-school assembly and celebrate their contribution to our College community.
The Arts and STEM Exhibition will take place in Week 2, providing students with a wonderful opportunity to showcase their creativity, skills and talents. Day 2 of the Year 9 City Experience will also take place next term, so Year 9 students should ensure that consent has been provided and that they understand what the day will involve.
Thank you to all Hollows students and staff for your efforts throughout Term 3. Have a safe, relaxing and enjoyable break. We look forward to returning refreshed and ready to hit the ground running, both in our learning and in our pursuit of the 2026 House Cup.
