House News

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

At Walton House, the end of term has provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on a busy and purposeful period of learning and connection. Named after pioneering Australian aviator Nancy Bird Walton, our House continues to be guided by her legacy of courage, perseverance, leadership, and service to the community. These qualities remain central to how Walton students approach their learning and their contribution to College life.

This term concluded with our Values Assembly, where students were recognised for consistently demonstrating Learning, Respect, and Working Together. These moments reinforce what it means to belong to Walton and highlight the quiet, everyday actions that build a strong and inclusive House culture. Student Led Conferences were another highlight, with students confidently sharing their progress and goals, reinforcing shared responsibility for learning between students, families, and staff.

House spirit has also been evident throughout our ongoing House Championship campaign. With the competition finely balanced, Walton currently sits in a very close third place. The commitment, teamwork, and persistence shown by students across academic, sporting, and cultural events reflects our determination to contribute strongly in every arena.

As we move into the next term, we look forward to continuing this momentum through upcoming learning opportunities, House events, and community occasions. Walton students consistently represent the College with pride, and we remain focused on growth, participation, and living the values inspired by Nancy Bird Walton every day.
